A Midsummer Night's Dream (Hermia/others)
Hedgerow Theatre, Rosevalley, PA
May 26 - June 11, 2017
A Midsummer Night's Dream is perhaps Shakespeare's most performed comedy. The play centers around the marriage of Theseus, Duke of Athens, to Hippolyta, and what happens when fairies decide to mix in the affairs of mortals. Its comedy hinges on mistaken identities, love affairs that are not reciprocated, and the adventures of four young Athenian lovers and a group of six amateur actors (the mechanicals), who are controlled and manipulated by the fairies that inhabit the forest in which most of the play is set.
I am currently enrolled as a student at Playhouse West Philadelphia! I'm excited to continue my professional training with this awesome group of actors and educators. After all, "everyday you're either getting a little better or a little worse."
