Madalyn St. John is an actress, singer, writer, director and producer. She has worked in regional theatres such as The Arden Theatre Company, The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre and The Media Theatre, and most recently appeared on stage in the world premier of David Orlansky's comedy, The Boomerang Kid. She has been featured in several independent films and recently wrote, directed and produced her first short musical film, Repetition Rhapsody, which was awarded the Grand Jury Award for Best Original Song and the Audience Choice Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy at the Playhouse West Philadelphia Film Festival.
A proud member of Actor's Equity Association, Madalyn works on constant professional growth as a member of Playhouse West, a community of actors who continuously pursue excellence in their craft through regular training and the creation of new film and theatre.
In last year's Playhouse West Philadelphia 21-Day and 25-Day Film Challenges, Madalyn won Best Supporting Actress in the romantic comedy, Hott Yoga, and Best Actress in the thriller Stalker. She also received Broadway World Philadelphia's award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for her performance as Carrie Pipperidge in Carousel at The Media Theatre.
When she's not on stage or on set, you can find Madalyn on the mat at Action Karate, where she is a second-degree black belt and social media coordinator.
